Social Workers are very helpful and beneficial to our patients who are receiving care from our team. They can provide our patients and their loved ones with the information and resources needed throughout this journey. Our Social Workers can provide education and assistance in setting up any community resources, as well as assisting in getting the medical and psycho-social care that our patients and their loved ones need.

Special people with so much, compassion, understanding, caring and know what to say when needed- ARE very rare. Buckeye Hospice has that person- Jason- he was with me when my husband ended his journey. For ten days Jason explained what was happening and what to know as my husband was slowly coming to the final day. So gentle and caring, making my husband comfortable, doing everything he could to make me feel that he was not in pain. To me, and my family, he is an angel, we need more like him. He is a treasure for he feels the pain of the patient. I hope he is rewarded with many blessings.
